WOBURN, MASS. — For the fourth year in a row, Bell Atlantic Mobile was ranked highest in overall customer satisfaction among wireless users in the Boston market, according to the prestigious J.D. Power and Associates 1999 U.S. Wireless Customer Satisfaction
Study (sm) released this week.

Based on survey responses, call quality is the most important factor in determining satisfaction with wireless service providers. Other factors, in order of importance, were pricing options, corporate capability, customer service, credibility/communications, and roaming/coverage.
The J.D. Power and Associates 1999 Residential Wireless Customer Satisfaction Study is based on the results of a syndicated study independently funded by J.D. Power and Associates, which acts as an unbiased third party analyzing consumer opinions. The firm's quality and satisfaction measurements are based on actual customer responses from more than one million consumers annually.
