Verizon Wireless Donates $5,000 to Support Mount Saint Vincent Home

DENVER — The Mount Saint Vincent Home in Denver recently received a donation of $5,000 through the Verizon Wireless Community Partners program. The donation supports Mount Saint Vincent in its mission to help children and preserve family relationships throughout the Denver area.

"Mount Saint Vincent depends on generous donors like Verizon Wireless to provide support to needy children and families," said Dallas L. Rychener, executive director at Mount Saint Vincent Home. "This contribution allows us to reach and provide care to many Denver area children and their families."

The $5,000 donation will help fund two abuse prevention programs for children five-years old and younger and their families.

"Verizon Wireless is committed to making a positive difference in local communities," said John Griffith, regional president for Verizon Wireless in the Mountain Region. "We hope that supporting organizations like Mount Saint Vincent Home helps to strengthen the connections between people and the services they need."

Verizon Wireless Community Partners provides donations in support of charitable organizations in communities in the 14 states served by the Northwest Area of Verizon Wireless, including Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Oregon, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Washington and Wyoming.
