DENVER, Colo. — Verizon Wireless has named Marni Walden president of its Mountain Region markets, including Colorado, Utah, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. In her new role, Walden is responsible for the region's sales and financial performance.
A native of Wyoming, Walden joined Verizon Wireless, then doing business as AirTouch Cellular, in 1998 as director of sales for Colorado and Wyoming. She is a ten-year veteran of the wireless industry and has held senior positions with Western Wireless, McCaw Communications, AT&T and AirTouch.
Walden holds a bachelor's degree in English from California State University at Chico.
