DALLAS, TX — North Texans now have another reason to choose Verizon Wireless as their wireless communications provider as the company today introduced a new 10-cent per minute Call MexicoSM feature plan.

"Verizon Wireless created Call Mexico to meet the growing needs of our diverse customers," said Cindy Patterson, regional president for Verizon Wireless in North Texas. "Calling Mexico is now more convenient and much less expensive."

Call Mexico allows Verizon Wireless customers in North Texas to call anywhere in Mexico for a low long distance rate of only 10-cents per minute from their local digital calling area. The new feature is available on Verizon Wireless' Call TexasSM rate plans. Customers can subscribe to Call Mexico for an additional $4.95 monthly fee.
