SEATTLE, WA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, today introduced new regional flat-rate pricing options for consumers and businesses in the Pacific Northwest Region (Oregon, Washington and Northern Idaho) who want competitive, predictable regional pricing with no roaming and no long distance charges. The new SingleRate SM West calling plans now give Verizon Wireless customers in the Pacific Northwest Region an 11 state regional home calling area including Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico.
"Now customers in the Pacific Northwest Region who travel in the western states have the option of choosing a calling plan that best meets their needs," said Kelley DeLaney, president for Verizon Wireless in the Pacific Northwest Region. "The regional plan gives customers who travel another choice - an 11 state SingleRate Regional plan or our national 50-state SingleRate calling plan."
Traditionally, many regional wireless calling plans require customers to pay separate long-distance charges for incoming and outgoing calls outside the local area, and roaming charges when traveling outside the designated home area.
Verizon Wireless's SingleRateSM regional and national plans substantially expand the customers' local calling area, eliminate the uncertainty and guarantee that customers won't be surprised by unexpected roaming and long distance charges on their monthly bills.
The new family of five, flat-rate plans provide some of the best value in the industry for a regional wireless plan beginning at just $30 per month for 150 minutes.
