COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — Verizon Wireless today announced the grand opening of its newest retail location in Colorado Springs. Located at 2130 Southgate Road, in the newly remodeled Broadmoor Town Square, the communications store features a wide variety of wireless products and services, including a premier line of digital wireless phones, data products and hands-free calling accessories.

Customers can check out the latest wireless Internet and two-way text messaging services, including Mobile WebSM, Mobile MessengerSM and Mobile OfficeSM, as well as a variety of phones in all price ranges, from the Motorola 2260 with changeable color phone covers ($39.99 - two-year service activation required) to the Verizon Wireless web ready, Palm-powered Smartphone from Kyocera ($499.99 - one-year service activation required).

The Southgate Road location is the first Verizon Wireless retail store in Colorado Springs. Trained wireless professionals are on hand to assist customers in selecting equipment and making decisions on calling plans. The new communications store is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This store gives Verizon Wireless a total of 20 locations in Colorado. Verizon Wireless also has a kiosk in the Chapel Hills Mall.
