TREVOSE, PA — Verizon Wireless has expanded its digital wireless service in the Lehigh area with the addition of a new cell site with CDMA technology in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. The new site will improve digital wireless coverage along routes on I-78, 378 and the Center Valley Parkway.

According to Hans Leutenegger, executive director of network for the Philadelphia Tri-State Region, the site will provide the wireless carrier's Center Valley-area subscribers with improved wireless coverage when making cellular calls across the region.

The new site is part of a $4 billion investment program this year to improve and extend the reach of the Verizon Wireless nationwide network. More than $100 million of that investment is being used to stay ahead of the growing demand for Verizon Wireless products and services in the Philadelphia Tri-State area.
