MORRISTOWN, NJ — Verizon Wireless is donating 80 concert tickets to tonight's June 5, 2001, sold-out *NSYNC 2001 PopOdyssey Tour at Giants Stadium to children and their families through Tomorrows Children's Fund at the Hackensack University Medical Center. The company is co-sponsoring the *NSYNC tour.

Tomorrows Children's Fund provides financial support to over 1,000 families whose children have cancer or serious blood disorders.

"When there is a medical crisis in a family, it can create a great financial strain," said Lynn Hoffman, executive director of Tomorrows Children's Fund. "Going to a concert may not be financially feasible for many of these families. To give these children just a few hours to enjoy a concert and be regular kids gives them the thrill of their young lives and memories that will last forever."

"Music works as a great tonic for many things," said Charles Hand, president of Verizon Wireless' New York Metro Region. "We realize one night of excitement won't free them of their illnesses, but it's our hope that each time they hear one of the band's songs on the radio, they'll remember the night they went to see *NSYNC live and smile at the memory."

Hand said his company has also donated 50 *NSYNC concert tickets to children at domestic violence shelters in Passaic, Morris and Essex counties.
