WILMINGTON, DE — In response to growing demand for its wireless communications products and services, Verizon Wireless has opened its newest retail kiosk in the Christiana Mall.

This kiosk opening is part of the company's extensive retail expansion plan, which includes the opening of eight new retail locations throughout the Philadelphia Tri-State Region this year. Verizon Wireless now owns and operates 31 Communications Stores and kiosks in the Region.

The kiosk is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.

"The demand for our voice and data wireless service is growing steadily," said Verizon Wireless' Retail Kiosk Manager Joe Chedeville. "This new mall location will make shopping for our products and services easier and more convenient for customers."

The sales kiosk features a wide variety of wireless products and services, including a premier line of price plans, digital wireless phones, data products and hands-free calling accessories. Customers can check out the latest Internet and two-way text messaging services, including Mobile Web, Mobile MessengerSM and Mobile Office. The store also offers a variety of phones in all price ranges, from the Audiovox CDM 135 priced at $29.99 (with a two-year agreement) to the Verizon Wireless web-ready, Palm®-powered Kyocera 6035 Smartphone ($499.99 with a one-year agreement) to the Motorola V120c digital phone ($69.99 with two-year contract and $89.99 with one-year contract) with optional FM radio headset.
