Verizon Wireless Encourages Community to "Join in" and Support CADA This Holiday Season

Lansing and Okemos Stores Collecting Donations For Shelter Residents

LANSING, MI — The Verizon Wireless Communications Centers in Lansing and Okemos are collecting new, unwrapped gift items to be donated to the Council Against Domestic Assault (CADA), a domestic violence shelter serving the greater Lansing area. The drive, being held now through December 21, is open to the public for participation.

Verizon Wireless is located at 5202 W. Saginaw Highway in Lansing and 1930 W. Grand River in Okemos. Donations will help many families who come to CADA for support.

"At Verizon Wireless, we believe strongly in giving back to the communities in which our employees and customers live and work," said Marion Arnett, district manager - Verizon Wireless. "Our employees are determined to fulfill every wish on CADA's list. We invite the greater Lansing community to help us reach this goal."

The following "Wish List" items will assist CADA residents now and through next year. (All donated items must be new, unwrapped and unopened.)
