PHILADELPHIA, PA — Verizon Wireless has named Ron Kastawa assistant store manager for the company's retail location in the Roosevelt Mall in Northeast Philadelphia. In his new position, Kastawa will be responsible for customer service, new sales, employee training, billing and inventory.

"Ron's track record in providing outstanding customer service and knowledge about Verizon Wireless products and services will be invaluable in his role as assistant manager of the Roosevelt Mall store," said Ria Tielman, district manager.

Kastawa has spent his entire career in the field of retail sales. While at Verizon Wireless, Kastawa most recently served as a senior sales representative at the company's Ardmore Communications Store in Ardmore, Pa. Before joining Verizon Wireless, Kastawa was a sales representative for an office supply retailer for six years.

Kastawa is a member of Verizon Wireless' "One Hundred Percent Club", an honor reserved for Verizon Wireless employees who reach 100 percent of their annual sales goals. He earned a B.S.B.A from Penn State University in State College, Pa.
