TUSTIN, CA and BEDMINSTER, NJ — Thumbworks™, an emerging innovator in the world of wireless publishing, and Verizon Wireless today announced the release of Suzuki Motocross Challenge, a wireless motorcycle off-road racing game for Verizon Wireless' Get It NowSM service.

Suzuki Motocross Challenge, which can be downloaded over the air onto a Verizon Wireless Get It Now-enabled phone, rewards riders with points for the aerial excellence and precision they show as they jump over a series of obstacles. The more difficult the mid-air maneuver, the more points a rider can earn. Players start out as "Privateer Riders," but as they accumulate points, they can move up to "Support Rider" status. Only the very best advance to become "Factory Riders," with each new level providing an increase in difficulty and a new variety of mid-air moves from which to choose.

"There aren't very many of us who are either brave enough or talented enough to ride real motocross," said Craig Holland, president of Thumbworks. "Suzuki Motocross Challenge is a fun way to fantasize a little bit about what it would be like to go airborne on a Suzuki motorcycle. The game is really a kick."

Suzuki is optimistic about the game's potential as well. "We're excited to become involved with this emerging new medium," said Mel Harris, vice president of Suzuki Motorcycles. "Suzuki Motocross Challenge is an innovative and unique way to expose our brand to a broad new audience."

"One of the great advantages of our Get It Now service is that it allows game designers to put a tremendous amount of detail into each game," said Jim Straight, vice president of wireless data and Internet services for Verizon Wireless. "The rich graphics and variety that Thumbworks has put into Suzuki Motocross Challenge makes this a great addition to our stable of games. We believe our daring Get It Now customers will become instantly passionate about it."

Verizon Wireless customers who want to first test the Suzuki Motocross Challenge before purchasing it can try the available free demo. Full versions of the game start at $1.49 for 30 days, $2.49 for 90 days, and $3.35 for unlimited use. Initially, Suzuki Motocross Challenge will be available on all Verizon Wireless Get It Now handsets: the full-color Motorola T720, CDM-9500 and the Verizon Wireless Z-800 as well as the Kyocera 3035 and the LG VX10. Get It Now-enabled phones are available through more than 1,300 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores, at participating RadioShack stores, or on the Web at www.verizonwireless.com.
