TAMPA, FL — Verizon small business customers in Florida now can consolidate charges for the company's local, long-distance, wireless, DSL and optional services on one bill.
"We know our customers want the convenience of one bill for their telecommunications services," said Mary Yarbrough, vice president of integrated marketing programs for Verizon's retail markets group. "It's one of the benefits they expect from today's competitive telecommunications marketplace.
"They want to be able to see charges for all services on one monthly statement and write one check," she said, "and since our goal is to help small businesses become more efficient, we're glad we can comply."
To sign up for Veriationssm ONE-BILL®, customers need to have Verizon local service and Verizon Wireless service. Both accounts must be in the same name and have good credit records.
"Wireless service is an integral part of the business customer's telecommunications equation," said John Stratton, vice president and chief marketing officer of Verizon Wireless. "One Bill makes good business sense. It gives customers another tool to help manage their business expenses, and it's free."
ONE-BILL customers who are registered users of Verizon's Web site, www.verizon.com, can view all their Verizon charges -- including Verizon Wireless charges -- online, and they can pay their consolidated bill electronically via the Web. To register for online payments, Verizon customers need information listed on their business phone bill.
To find out if they are eligible and to order ONE-BILL, Verizon customers can call their local Verizon business office.
ONE-BILL was introduced to Verizon's small business customers in New York, Massachusetts and Rhode Island in December. The company's residential customers in 19 states, including Florida, and the District of Columbia also have the ONE-BILL option.
