BEDMINSTER, NJ — The nation's largest wireless provider and a leader in mobile data services today launched the Verizon Wireless Instant Win Game - a unique interactive online game offering its customers a chance to win as much as $25,000 in cash daily until April 21, 2003.

Verizon Wireless customers can enter the game as often as once a day for chances to win cash prizes, laptops, wireless phone packages and more by simply logging in to their service accounts online.
In the last year alone, the number of Verizon Wireless customers who have signed up for its VZServe online customer service has more than doubled to about 10 percent of the company's total customer base. These customers are benefiting from quick and convenient account access, 24 hours per day, without having to visit a retail store or call customer service, all at no charge.
Customers can let VZServe do their work for them and pay bills automatically or they can actively track their account activity online. In addition to the convenience and timesaving benefits of VZServe, customers can also play for a chance to win luxury prizes.
"The Verizon Wireless Instant Win Game is a fun, interactive way to introduce customers to a Web-based online customer service option," said Mark Lawson, director of e-business for Verizon Wireless. "Our research has shown that wireless customers are increasingly choosing to manage their accounts online, to get the information they need -- when they need it. And with the special bonus of our Instant Win Game, they have the chance to win up to a $25,000 cash incentive, just for logging in to their accounts."
To play the Instant Win Game, customers must log in or register for VZServe at www.VerizonWireless.com/instantwin. Registered customers can then simply click on the Instant Win Game graphic and follow the step-by-step instructions. There is no purchase necessary to enter or win and all entrants must be at least 18 years old to enter. Players must select three of nine buttons on a wireless phone game board. If the buttons match the winning combination of the day, the player wins!
VZServe offers customers the ability to view and pay bills online, check account balances, change addresses and add or delete features to current service profiles. Official game rules are also posted on the Web site.
