BEDMINSTER, NJ — Verizon Wireless, the nation's largest wireless provider, is offering its customers who manage their accounts online an incentive to go hands-free. In honor of Wireless Safety Week (May 19-23) Verizon Wireless customers who use the "My Account" online account-management program can get a 40 percent discount on select wireless phone headsets, from now until July 7, 2003.
The headset promotion is available to new and existing users of My Account. Headsets by top manufacturers Jabra and Plantronics are available in both ear bud and over-the-ear styles, with discounted pricing starting at just $9.00 (regular prices range from $14.99-$39.99), and customers receive free shipping.
My Account offers customers the ability to view and pay bills online, check account balances, change addresses and add or delete calling features. More than 3.5 million Verizon Wireless customers manage their accounts online through the free service, which is available 24 hours a day.
