BEDMINSTER, NJ — Verizon Wireless, operator of the nation's largest and most reliable wireless network, today announced customers now have the option of receiving their monthly bill in Spanish. In addition, new customers may elect to receive their confirmation letter and welcome kit in Spanish.
Interested customers may request the new Spanish-language bill and welcome kit by stopping in at any of the 1,200 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores nationwide, calling 1-800-2 JOIN IN (1-800-256-4646), or visiting the Web at www.VerizonWireless.com. There is no charge or fee for this service.
"Spanish language bills and welcome kits are another way of meeting customer expectations and enhancing the customers' overall Verizon Wireless experience," said Nicholas Montes, director diversity marketing, Verizon Wireless. "The Spanish language bill is the latest addition to a host of features we offer to specifically meet the needs of our Spanish speaking customers. "
Other offerings for Spanish-speaking customers include a customized Web site, VerizonWireless.com/Espanol, and Spanish-speaking customer service representatives at 1-800-2 JOIN IN and in many Verizon Wireless Communications Stores. VerizonWireless.com/espanol offers customers the ability to research and purchase wireless phones and calling plan options, review calling plan maps, find a nearby store, view Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and get additional information, such as how to use services and how to contact Spanish-speaking customer service representatives. The company also recently launched blah! a popular Spanish language mobile chat service.
