WATERLOO, IA — Verizon Wireless, a corporate supporter of programs that help prevent domestic violence, is providing the grant to support shelter services for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse in Black Hawk County. The Family Service League provides shelter, advocacy services, counseling and outreach programs, and operates a 24-hour Crisis Line (319-233-8484).

Verizon Wireless had until September operated a retail store on University Avenue in Waterloo. The new kiosk replaces that location and will be open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The kiosk's manager is Mark Fisher and its phone number is (319) 236-0400.
