DENVER, CO — WHO: Representatives from Verizon Wireless
WHAT: Beginning Monday, Nov. 24, consumers can change telecommunications carriers and keep their phone numbers a first for wireless numbers in the U.S., and the first time in the world that landline numbers can be switched to wireless service.
Members of the media are invited to attend a walk through and overview of the switching process. Subject matter experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide useful tips that will help prepare consumers and business owners for number portability.
