FARGO, ND — Verizon Wireless, the leading U.S. wireless service provider, announces two appointments to its Great Plains Region sales management team. Cary Degenstein is named business channel manager for North Dakota and South Dakota. Shaine Selzler is named business account executive of eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota.
Degenstein will oversee sales in North Dakota and South Dakota, including Fargo and Bismarck, N.D., and Sioux Falls and Rapid City, S.D. Most recently a Verizon Wireless retail store manager in Fargo, he brings eight years of experience in telecommunications sales and service to his new role. Prior to joining Verizon Wireless, Degenstein worked for AT&T. He attended Minot State University in Minot, N.D., and has served on the board of directors of Fargo's West Acres Merchants Association. Degenstein lives in the Fargo area.
Selzler will manage corporate and corporate employee accounts that have Verizon Wireless data and voice services in eastern North Dakota and western Minnesota. Before joining Verizon Wireless, he worked as a sales manager for Nextel Partners in Fargo. Selzler earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D., and currently serves on the Membership Services and Youth Leadership committees with the Fargo/Moorhead Chamber of Commerce. He lives in the Fargo area.
