FARGO, ND — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, has named Wilson Ashley to its Great Plains Region network operations team as manager — cells/switch. Ashley will report to Bruce Banks, director of network operations, Plymouth, Minn.

In his new role, Ashley will be based in Fargo and oversee network operations in North Dakota. He served the past four years as a field technician and system performance engineer for Verizon Wireless in Kansas City, Mo. Ashley's background includes 13 years in the United States Marine Corps.
