Verizon Wireless Names Bill Hoedt Manager For Garland, Texas Communications Store

GARLAND, TX — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, has named Bill Hoedt manager for its Garland Communications Store, located at 5255 North George Bush Highway. Hoedt will be responsible for customer service, sales and merchandising, managing and training store team members, and implementing marketing initiatives for Verizon Wireless and its products.

"With his wireless experience and proven sales success, we are confident Bill will do a tremendous job in leading the new Garland store," said Bill McKinney, director of retail sales for Verizon Wireless.

Hoedt has more than 12 years of sales and human resource experience in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Most recently, Hoedt served as a store manager for Nextel Communications, where he was responsible for maintaining store operations and inventory control systems for two stores. Earlier in his career, he worked for AT&T Wireless, i2 Technologies and Dr. Pepper/Seven Up. Hoedt earned a bachelor's degree from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
