Verizon Wireless to Sponsor Alejandro Sanz Concert Giveaway in Chicago, Illinois

CHICAGO, IL — Verizon Wireless is making it possible for Alejandro Sanz fans to get tickets to his upcoming Chicago performance — for free. The public is invited to stop by the Verizon Wireless store at 3620 W. Irving Park Rd. in Chicago from 4 p.m.- 6 p.m. on Monday, May 3, where WVIV-FM Viva! will help Verizon Wireless giveaway three pairs of tickets to Sanz's concert, scheduled for Tuesday, May 4, at the Rosemont Theatre in Rosemont, Ill.

To win, fans must come to the store and sing an Alejandro Sanz song with their own lyrics expressing their desire to win the tickets. Three lucky winners will be chosen by Viva! based on originality and performance.

A native of Madrid, Spain, Sanz is an eight-time Grammyâ winner and the top-selling artist in Spain's history with more than 19 million albums sold worldwide. His most recent album, "No Es Lo Mismo," won a 2004 Grammy award for Best Latin Pop album.

The lucky winners at the May 3 ticket giveaway also will be invited to a VIP reception following the concert, where Sanz will make a personal appearance. Those who attend the giveaway on May 3, but do not win tickets will receive a promotional Alejandro Sanz CD, while supplies last.
