BEDMINSTER, NJ — Starting today, customers who register for the re-designed My Account online service and use their checking account to pay their Verizon Wireless bill will receive a one-time 100 bonus anytime minute allowance. To be eligible for the bonus anytime minutes, Verizon Wireless customers must register for My Account online at www.verizonwireless.com/myaccount and pay their bill using a checking account by August 30, 2004. The bonus minutes will take effect during the following billing cycle and will be applied to all lines on the account.

My Account provides a single source for online customer service and account information and is ideal for customers who prefer to access their account online. My Account is part of Verizon Wireless' ongoing commitment to delivering customer satisfaction — through the Internet and award-winning customer service representatives at 1-800-2 JOIN IN and at the more than 1,200 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores across the nation.

Using My Account, which was recently re-designed to make navigation easier and improve the customer experience, Verizon Wireless customers can view and pay their bills online, change address information, and review payment activity. Customers can also view up-to-the-minute information about peak and off-peak minutes used since the last statement, minutes remaining under their calling plan, and current statement charges. Verizon Wireless customers also have the option to eliminate paper bills by electing to view and pay bills online through My Account. Once the monthly statement is available, customers receive an email notice that their bill is available for viewing online. Customers may choose to have their wireless bill paid automatically with Auto Bill Pay, which automatically debits the account of their choice, including checking, credit or debit card.

My Account also provides information about all active phones on the account, including a listing of phone features and capabilities, as well as a link to Manual in Motion, an interactive self-help tool guide, designed to complement the owner's manual that accompanied the phone when purchased. Customers can also use My Account to purchase equipment for their current phone or upgrade and activate a new phone, or take advantage of Verizon Wireless' New Every TwoSM program, offering eligible customers $100 toward a new phone every two years.

My Account is available to all Verizon Wireless customers. Only Verizon Wireless customers who pay their bills online through My Account using their checking account are eligible for the 100 bonus anytime minutes.* All unused bonus minutes will expire after 30 days. Bonus minute promotion is not available in all markets and varies depending on eligibility.** For more information about My Account, visit www.verizonwireless.com/myaccount.
