HAMILTON, NJ — Verizon Wireless has named Wanny Manasse manager of its retail location in Hamilton Marketplace. In his new position, Manasse will be responsible for customer service, sales and employee training.
Previously, he served as assistant manager of the Verizon Wireless' Communications Store in Lakewood. Prior to that, Manasse managed a customer service call center for eight years in Jamaica where he was responsible for the daily activities and supervision of 900 employees. In both 2003 and 2004, Verizon Wireless recognized him as one of the company's top retail sales managers for achieving outstanding monthly sales performance.
Manasse is an active member of the community. He is a member of the Police Athletic League, where he coaches basketball and soccer. He is also the program director for the Path Community and Educational Center in Orange, NJ and president of the United Christian Men's Society where he organizes food drives and provides clothes to homeless shelters. In addition, he is active with the Newark, NJ-based Big Brother Society where he serves as a mentor/role model to three boys per year.
An Essex County resident, Manasse is currently pursuing his master's degree in counseling from Nyack College in Nyack, NY.
