BEDMINSTER, NJ and NEW YORK, NY — Verizon Wireless, the nation’s leading wireless provider, and AppAbove, Inc., a developer and publisher of wireless language, utility, and entertainment applications, today announced the availability of Spanish Anywhere – an easy-to-use portable language tool for people on-the-go. Available on select Get It Now®-enabled phones, Spanish Anywhere provides a Spanish-to-English and English-to-Spanish phrase book and dictionary with more than 5,500 words and 1,200 useful phrases, as well as a verb conjugator with more than 1,000 Spanish and English verbs. Spanish Anywhere is a useful Get It Now application for customers eager to learn or communicate in Spanish or English.
Spanish Anywhere can be used in a variety of situations – when asking for directions, ordering at a restaurant, visiting the doctor’s office, getting car repairs, or doing homework – whenever the need to translate arises. The full-color bilingual user interface quickly provides a clear and easy way for both native Spanish and English speakers to access the information right on their mobile phones, without using airtime minutes. The phrase book contains more than 35 sections organized by situation, reference and grammar, while the dictionary portion includes words in masculine and feminine forms and defines words with multiple meanings. Spanish Anywhere follows the launch of TranslaTodo Spanish/English, an AppAbove application for Spanish speaking Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers who want to improve their English.
