IDAHO FALLS, ID — In a continuing effort to provide the latest wireless products and services at convenient, accessible locations, Verizon Wireless has moved its retail store a few doors away from its previous Idaho Falls location. The new store is located at 2183 East 17th Street where customers will enjoy a more spacious environment to explore voice and data solutions. To celebrate the store's grand opening, Troy McClain, a former contestant on NBC TV's The Apprentice and a local celebrity, will sign autographs and be available for photographs from 2 5 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2004. Verizon Wireless will also offer the Samsung SCH-a670 camera phone for only $49.99 from August 21 through September 19, 2004 (requires new 2-year agreement).
The new store offers a premier line of digital wireless phones, data products, and accessories. Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless communications provider in the country, owns and operates four retail locations in the state.
"During the last two years we have invested more than $25 million in our wireless network in Idaho, enhancing its reach and its voice and data capabilities," said Kelley Kurtzman, regional president, Verizon Wireless. "This effort, combined with the opening of a larger store in Idaho Falls, makes it easier for more local residents to benefit from Verizon Wireless' expansive network and wide variety of service plans, with choices to fit any lifestyle and income." Network usage in Idaho increased more than 40 percent in 2003 over 2002.
