INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Verizon Wireless has replaced its kiosk in Washington Square Mall with a new 2,686-square-foot Communications Store at 9875 E. Washington Street in Cherry Tree Plaza in Indianapolis.
The new store, which opens September 30, offers an expansive array of wireless products and services, including the latest phones, accessories and data services such as Picture Messaging, TXT messaging, NationalAccess high-speed Internet connection and Get It Now® downloadable ring tones and games.
The store also features a HopeLineSM phone collection bin where anyone can donate no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories. Most of the phones and equipment are refurbished and sold; then the company uses the proceeds to purchase newer wireless phones for domestic violence survivors and to support domestic violence shelters and organizations. The remaining phones are recycled in an environmentally friendly way, preventing the dumping of waste into landfills.
The store, managed by Randy Myers, is open 9:30 a.m.8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m.5 p.m. on Sunday. The telephone number is 317-895-8107. Verizon Wireless has 42 company-owned retail outlets across Indiana.
