BEDMINSTER, NJ — No one likes a backseat driver, but a mobile phone that gives driving directions could come in handy, especially for travelers visiting during the holidays or cooks shopping for Thanksgiving dinner. Verizon SuperPages On the Go — available on Verizon Wireless Get It Now®-enabled phones — puts maps, driving directions, and nationwide white and yellow pages at your fingertips. In addition, Verizon SuperPages On the Go offers movie reviews and weather forecasts, Zagat survey restaurant ratings and reviews, and Mobil Travel Guide hotel reviews to help with holiday travel or help enable a break from shopping mayhem.

"Verizon SuperPages On the Go gives busy people a single wireless phone application to get their errands done efficiently — whenever and wherever they may be."

The application is now available on Verizon Wireless LG VX7000, 6000, 4600 and 4500 phones, as well as the Motorola V710, Samsung SCH-a790 and the Audiovox CDM-8910. Consumers can download Verizon SuperPages On the Go for $1.25 for daily use or $2.49 a month for unlimited usage — comparable to the monthly cost of two directory assistance calls.

  • Reverse number lookup
  • Weather reports and forecasts
  • Mobil Travel Guide restaurant and hotel reviews
  • Zagat survey restaurant rating and reviews
  • Maps and driving directions
  • Movie information, including show times, locations and feature highlights

Get It Now is Verizon Wireless' virtual store with more than 500 applications available for download. Application availability varies by handset manufacturer and model. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime and other charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain functions available with this application. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled handset and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.
