SOUTHFIELD, MI — Verizon Wireless has named Jacqueline Underwood associate director of human resources for the company's Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky Region. In her new role, Underwood oversees all human resource operations across the three-state region.
Underwood joined Verizon Wireless in June 2003 as a human resources consultant where she worked to establish effective training programs for managers and sales representatives. She also helped managers improve processes within their respective channel or department.
Before joining Verizon Wireless, Underwood guided the human resource operations of 25 The Home Depot stores across Michigan.
She holds a Master of Science degree in human resource management from Central Michigan University and a business degree from Eastern Michigan University. Underwood resides in Sterling Heights.
