DALLAS, TX — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless provider, has named Chad Cooper district manager for its D/FW East District. Cooper will be responsible for overseeing all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the eastern area of the D/FW Metroplex, identifying creative sales opportunities, executing national marketing initiatives, increasing growth and ensuring excellence among the retail sales team.
"Chad brings valuable sales experience and knowledge to our team," said Bill McKinney, director of Retail Sales for Verizon Wireless. "As we continue to expand in 2005, Chad will help his stores continue to provide superior customer service and increased sales."
Cooper has been with Verizon Wireless since 1997 and has held several positions in the company in Marketing and Indirect Sales. Most recently he served as a district manager for retail sales in Florida. He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Northeast Louisiana University in Monroe, Louisiana.
