BEDMINSTER, NJ — Starting today, wireless customers have another reason to Join IN Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, is expanding its popular IN Calling plans to include IN Messaging, the company's newest offering that gives Verizon Wireless customers free unlimited mobile-to-mobile TXT, PIX and FLIX Messages with more than 43 million Verizon Wireless customers. Customers with Verizon Wireless IN Calling plans receive unlimited free mobile-to-mobile voice calls to other customers on the Verizon Wireless national network.
For only $5 additional a month, customers with TXT, PIX or FLIX Messaging-capable phones can sign up for IN Messaging and immediately begin sending and receiving unlimited mobile-to-mobile messaging to other Verizon Wireless customers. IN Messaging from Verizon Wireless gives customers the choice of how to keep in touch with other Verizon Wireless customers by offering the flexibility to select either calling or messaging. IN Messaging customers who want to add additional services to their phones can get unlimited browsing with Verizon Wireless' Mobile Web 2.0SM news and information service for just $4.99 monthly access or add the V CAST VPak for $15.00 monthly access, plus applicable airtime.
With IN Messaging bundled plans and the LG VX8000, snap happy customers can compose TXT Messages and exchange high-quality PIX and FLIX Messages. The phone features a 1.3 mega pixel camera with 10x digital zoom and embedded flash, allowing IN Messaging customers to experience clarity and sharpness in their photos. The LG VX8000 is currently available to Verizon Wireless customers for $149.99 after $70 mail-in rebate with a two-year customer agreement.
IN Messaging plans also include an allotment for out of network text, picture and video messages. IN Messaging plans for $5 additional per month include 50 text, picture and video messages to other customers. Plan options include 250 text, picture and video messages for $10 additional per month, and 500 messages for $15 per month to other customers. Messages over the monthly allotment are charged at the rate of $0.10 for each message sent and $0.02 for each message received. Airtime charges apply when sending and receiving PIX and FLIX Messages.
