BEDMINSTER, NJ — Infospace, a leading provider of mobile content, applications and infrastructure, and First Star Software, Inc., the award-winning multi-platform game publisher, today announced Boulder Dash® - Tournaments for PrizesTM is now available to Verizon Wireless Get It Now® customers. For the first time, customers are able to play Boulder Dash® to compete for popular prizes like DVDs, CDs and gift cards from major retailers. Designed to stay fresh and exciting, the game challenges players with randomly generated levels, providing a new game experience every time.

"Boulder Dash is a true classic in the arcade game world," remarked Steve Elfman, Infospace, vice-president mobile operations. "Now we're adding an exciting new dimension to an already great franchise by enabling Verizon Wireless customers to compete against each other for exciting prizes. The new dynamically generated levels of game play are certain to bring out the competitor in each player."

Boulder Dash is the internationally acclaimed action-puzzle game in which players dig tunnels, dodge boulders and collect diamonds to win. The mobile version of the game adds new features, such as boulder-smashing hammers; bombs; the ability to kick objects and rotate the playfield 90 degrees at a time. For Verizon Wireless game enthusiasts, the brand new, mobile twists on the classic Boulder Dash, make competition for prizes especially fierce during 'head-to-head' (highest percentage of game wins) and 'progressive' (highest score) skills-based tournaments.

"Millions of Boulder Dash fans have enjoyed what many view as the ultimate action-puzzle game," explained Richard M. Spitalny, President of First Star Software, the award-winning publishers of Boulder Dash. "With Boulder Dash - Tournament for Prizes, Infospace and First Star are tapping into Verizon Wireless customers' love of competition. With exciting tournament prizes, randomly generated competition levels and practice caves for offline play, old and new fans alike are sure to keep coming back for more."

Verizon Wireless customers can find Boulder Dash Tournament for Prizes in the getGAMES shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store. Verizon Wireless customers with select Get It Now-enabled phones can purchase Boulder Dash Tournament for Prizes for $2.99 monthly access or $7.49 for unlimited use purchase.
