SAN DIEGO, CA & BEDMINSTER, NJ — Gameloft, a leading developer and publisher of games for mobile phones, adds a unique twist to an ordinary game of pool. Midnight Pool, an exciting and original pool game, is now available on Verizon Wireless Get It Now®-enabled phones.

Met with rave reviews, Midnight Pool is described by IGN and Gamespot as the most in-depth pool game seen on mobile with the best representation of the sport to ever hit cell phones. Complete with a list of creative characters and a nightclub backdrop, Midnight Pool entertains with Lynyrd Skynyrd's classic hit, "Sweet Home Alabama." The game features three different types of gameplay: 8-ball US, 9-ball and 8-ball UK. The player can perform several different shots such as bold shots, jump shots and masse shots, a first for a pool game.

"We are happy to offer Midnight Pool to Verizon Wireless' Get It Now customers," said Michel Guillemot, president and CEO, Gameloft. "After all the great reviews we received for the game, it is clear that Midnight Pool stands out in its genre with its innovative take on the traditional game of billiards."

Midnight Pool is located in the getGAMES shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store where customers can purchase the game for $2.49 monthly access or $6.49 for unlimited use purchase. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled handset and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the virtual store.

Pool sharks can download Midnight Pool on an array of Get It Now-enabled phones, including the Kyocera KX2; LG VX4500, VX6100, VX7000 and VX8000; Motorola V265; and Samsung SCH-a650, SCH-a670 and SCH-n330. Until June 19, 2005, Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers can purchase the Motorola V265 camera phone for $29.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year customer agreement.
