SAN MATEO, Calif — Glu Mobile (formerly Sorrent, Inc. and Macrospace Ltd.), a leading developer and global publisher of mobile entertainment, today announced that ZumaTM, the mobile action-puzzler based on the original Web and PC title from PopCap GamesTM, is now a top seller on Verizon Wireless' Get It Now® service.

Zuma on mobile has also achieved critical success; IGN.com gave the game an Editor's Choice Award and a rating of 9.2. "Zuma is probably the best mobile game I have played so far this year," wrote Levi Buchanan of IGN.com.

Zuma's success follows Glu's other bestselling games for Verizon Wireless' Get It Now service. At the BREW 2005 Conference last week, Verizon Wireless announced that from January 1-May 31, 2005, DRIV3RTM was the No. 9 most-downloaded mobile game overall as well as the No. 1 action game and Deer Hunter® was the No. 2 sports game.

"Glu represents entertainment that is personal, instant and connected," said Robert Nashak, senior vice president of production, Glu Mobile. "Zuma is the type of engaging mobile entertainment that keeps mobile subscribers glu'd to their phones, and we expect it to join the ranks of other classic mobile titles from Glu in coming months."

Zuma is located in the getGAMES shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store and available for $2.99 monthly access or $6.49 for unlimited use purchase. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled handset and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.

Zuma addicts can download and play the hit game on a wide variety of Get It Now-enabled phones, including the Kyocera KX1, KX2, KX414, KX434, KX444 and SE47; LG VX4400, VX4500, VX4600, VX4700, VX6000 VX6100, VX7000 and VX8000; Motorola a840, T720, V65P, V260, V265 and v710; Samsung SCH-a610, SCH-a650, SCH-a670, SCH-a790, SCH-a890 and SCH-N330; and UTStarcom (Audiovox) CDM-8600, CDM-8900 and CDM-8910. From now through June 19, 2005, Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers can purchase the LG VX6100 camera phone for $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year customer agreement.
