BEDMINSTER, NJ and LITTLE ROCK, AR — Verizon Wireless and Alltel today announced an inter-carrier Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) agreement between the two companies that allows picture and video messaging customers to exchange multimedia messages directly from their wireless camera phones.

Verizon Wireless customers can exchange multimedia messages with customers of Alltel, Cingular Wireless, Leap Wireless, Sprint and U.S. Cellular. Alltel customers can exchange multimedia messages with Verizon Wireless and Cingular Wireless customers. Mobile 365 will provide the interoperability service for Verizon Wireless customers.
