ATLANTA, GA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's best, most reliable wireless network, announces the opening of its newest authorized agent location in Atlanta — and the first wireless communication store in Georgia that is Hispanic-owned with 100% bilingual staff, completely dedicated to serving Atlanta's growing Spanish-speaking population. ToDo Communications, owned by Georgia's Minority Media Cornerstone award recipient, Lino Dominguez, opens a kiosk located in the Plaza Fiesta shopping center at Clairmont Road and Buford Highway on September 15th. A full-service communications store located in the same plaza is scheduled to open by the end of September. Nine more stores are planned throughout the Atlanta area, to open by December 2005.

On Monday September 12th, at 11 a.m. Verizon Wireless will host a media-only event at the Dekalb Event Center to provide details regarding the stores and plans to give Atlanta's Hispanic population the best, most reliable network service available. The Mexican Consulate and members of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will join wireless company executives to announce the company's Hispanic store openings.

Also at the September 12th media event, Verizon Wireless will make a HopeLine donation of $2,500 to the Mexican Consulate to support their domestic violence education program taking place during Health Week in October, as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. HopeLine® is Verizon Wireless' exclusive nationwide phone recycling program that distributes previously owned wireless phones to victims of domestic violence, supports non-profit domestic violence advocacy groups and provides an environmentally safe method for recycling phones. Marking its 10th year in 2005, HopeLine collects wireless phones and accessories from any wireless service provider and refurbishes and recycles them in an environmentally friendly way.

"Verizon Wireless continues to expand its retail presence to meet the growing demand for its wireless products and services, and that includes the Spanish-speaking community. The company's authorized agents help to make wireless service shopping convenient to customers," said Sheree Northrup, Verizon Wireless director — indirect sales, Georgia/Alabama. "ToDo Communications' locations represent our ongoing commitment to provide our growing Hispanic customer base in Georgia with increased convenience and an accessible sales staff. And we are excited to help support the Mexican Consulate's commitment to domestic violence education and prevention through our HopeLine program."

"I am very proud and excited to open these Verizon Wireless-exclusive ToDo Communication stores," says Lino Dominguez, owner. "We are not only creating new jobs, but the Hispanic community in Atlanta has long needed stores dedicated to our market. I'm very proud that we're able to offer Atlanta Hispanics the best wireless network, with award-winning customer service and a variety of pricing plans, in the nation."

Verizon Wireless authorized agents offer a premier line of the latest in digital wireless phones data services and accessories. The ToDo Communications store and kiosk will be open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. — 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Lino Dominguez, owner of ToDo Communications, will be available for media interviews onsite at the September 12, 11 a.m. media event. Additional interviews can be scheduled as necessary.
