Verizon Wireless Celebrates Grand Opening of New Gallatin, Tennessee Store

GALLATIN, TN — Verizon Wireless, the nation's most reliable network, kicks off the official opening of its newest retail store in Gallatin February 19 - February 25, 2006 with weeklong savings and special promotions. In honor of the new store and the company's commitment to assisting domestic violence victims, Verizon Wireless will donate $1,000 to HomeSafe, a local not-for-profit organization that offers temporary shelter, crisis counseling and other support services to victims of family violence.

"This generous grant from Verizon Wireless will enable us to help survivors who seek safety from abusive situations," said Sherry Tolli, Executive Director of HomeSafe. "We appreciate a national corporation being so willing to address this important cause at our local level."

Verizon Wireless will present the donation to HomeSafe during a ribbon-cutting celebration at the store on Wednesday, February 22, at 4 p.m. with local dignitaries. WRVW-FM will also be on site from 4-6 p.m. for a live radio broadcast with prize giveaways and special customer offers. During the week, store visitors are invited to register to win an RTW: LGVX9800 V Cast, MP3 player, camera phone (retail value $419.99).

The new Verizon Wireless retail store in Gallatin, located at 1152 Nashville Pike, will offer customers 25% off selected accessories and will waive activation fees for new customers during the week-long grand opening celebration. Visitors are invited to take advantage of these special promotions and enjoy light refreshments available at the store throughout the week.
