BEDMINSTER, NJ — It's the network and today, Verizon Wireless is rolling out a new advertising campaign to introduce the people who make this statement a reality. The Verizon Wireless "Our People. Our Network." advertising campaign, which will run through June, includes print, radio, TV and online ads featuring employees whose work behind-the-scenes helps build and maintain Verizon Wireless' network.

The ads include an image of each employee in the workplace and his or her own word's about what makes Verizon Wireless a great employer. All employees cited the role they play in the different aspects of the Verizon Wireless network from the design to the performance to the maintenance of the network, as well as a variety of benefits offered to them by the company as the reasons they like working at Verizon Wireless.

Since its inception, Verizon Wireless has dedicated both financial and human resources to the expansion and enhancement of its national network. Employees featured in the ads include a senior technical analyst, a switch technician, a project engineer, a network engineer and a cell site equipment engineer. These employees are just a handful of the many employees who work behind-the-scenes everyday to make Verizon Wireless' network the most reliable.

"At Verizon Wireless, we employ the best of the best," said Martha Delehanty, vice president of human resources at Verizon Wireless. "We attract these employees by not only offering them top-of-the-line benefits that help them be successful both during the workday and once they leave the office, but by also allowing them to be owners of the business and to share in the value Verizon Wireless creates every day. We are continuing to grow both internally and externally and it is our hope that these ads will attract additional superstars looking to be part of the Verizon Wireless team."

Verizon Wireless offers a variety of work/life programs designed to help employees balance their work and personal responsibilities. Verizon Wireless offers backup child and elder care, which provides up to 80 hours of backup care for full-time and 40 hours of care for part-time employees when normal child/elder care arrangements fall through. The company also offers support for employees during family-related events and/or work-related events through its Life Event Navigator, which guides employees through the benefits, time-off policies and resources needed for work/life situations. Additionally, Verizon Wireless has lactation rooms at all major corporate facilities and offers tuition reimbursement, 401(k) and profit sharing and Weight Watchers Corporate Solutions, a flexible, comprehensive group of healthy living offerings.
