BEDMINSTER, NJ and LEXINGTON, KY — Verizon Wireless, the nation's premier wireless service provider, announced today that V CAST Music songs, ring tones, ring back tones (a song that is played for callers instead of the traditional ring) from Parlour Boys are now available to Verizon Wireless customers. Parlour Boys won the "Calling All Bands" contest and Verizon Wireless has made the wining song, "Lovers," as well as "Vicious" and "Sick Friends," available in three different forms so that fans from coast to coast can enjoy their favorite music the way they want it.

John Buckman of Parlour Boys said, "We can hardly believe that, through their cell phones, millions of Verizon Wireless subscribers can listen to the music we create from almost anywhere in the United States! In addition to this honor, we are solidifying the plans to record our first music video, sponsored by the great people at Myspace.com. This opportunity is one of many crucial steps in introducing the world to the Parlour Boys sound, experience and art."

In addition to the forthcoming music video, the band is also planning a summer concert tour that kicks off later this month. The Kentucky-bred Parlour Boys have a large following of dedicated fans and a reputation for exciting shows. Formed in 2005, the band's music described as being energetic and dynamic. Their self-titled debut EP was released in January 2006.

Verizon Wireless and MySpace introduced the Parlour Boys to the mobile world when the companies announced the band and their song "Lovers" as the winner of the "Calling All Bands" contest at the end of March. The Parlour Boys were selected from more than 4,000 entries to be the first unsigned band to launch their career on V CAST Music, the most comprehensive mobile music service in the country.
