Verizon Wireless Names Jackie Guerry New District Manager For Austin, Texas

AUSTIN, TX — Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation's most reliable network, has named Jackie Guerry as the new district manager for Austin. She will oversee all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the district, and continue to ensure operational and merchandising excellence.

"Jackie's history of retail and business sales excellence in the wireless industry will benefit our retail locations in Austin," said Ryan Chandler, director of Retail Sales for Verizon Wireless. "We have tremendous opportunity to continue our growth in Austin by educating customers on Verizon Wireless' excellent customer service and quality network."

Guerry joins Verizon Wireless with an extensive background in the wireless industry. She began her wireless career with Southwestern Bell in 1997 in San Antonio. She spent the last six years with Alamosa PCS, a Sprint affiliate, most recently serving as retail director over 14 retail stores in El Paso, Laredo, southern Arizona, New Mexico and California. Guerry earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Sam Houston State University.
