Verizon Wireless Value Added Distributors Launch Business Solutions Provider Program In New England

WOBURN, MA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless provider, and its three national Value Added Distributors — Global Wireless Data, Mobile DataComm, and Trio Teknologies -- encourage New England based solutions providers to investigate the new Business Solutions Provider Program. Value Added Distributors provide multiple products and services from various vendors to solutions providers in their network, including software, hardware and consulting services, to help enterprise and small and medium sized businesses resolve their information technology needs. Qualifying solutions providers will succeed by providing their customers with the most sophisticated wireless packages available today through one of the three national Value Added Distributors.

The Program is structured around the existing relationships that solutions providers have with their customers and it is a way to build solution breadth and increase revenue for solutions providers. Their customers will have access to the nation's most reliable voice network and Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess network.

This new program enables companies to implement custom applications using Verizon Wireless voice and data solutions, including Fleet Administrator^SM and VZ Navigator vehicle location solutions, and Field Force Manager, which allows businesses to track and locate remote workers, and provides electronic timecards and a dispatch service that allows for the tracking of a job's progress in near real-time.

Verizon Wireless has appointed J. Abra Degbor to the position of Regional Account Manager for Value Added Distribution sales for the New England region. Degbor will collaboratively spearhead the sales, marketing and solution provider support efforts for the newly implemented distribution channel with the Value Added Distributors.
