BASKING RIDGE, NJ and LOS ANGELES, CA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, congratulates its customers who are winners of the fourth annual 3G A-List Awards — including Wound Technology Network, Broadcast Microwave Services, GE Consumer & Industrial, Global Care Quest, Ecast, United States Navy, Verde Valley Guidance Clinic and Best Buy. Hosted by QUALCOMM, the 3G A-List Awards honor outstanding commercial deployments of enterprise wireless data solutions that demonstrate innovation, creativity and overall positive business impact.

Twelve 3G A-List Winners were selected this year; eight of those winners are Verizon Wireless customers, including the winners in the following categories:

      • Business Innovation: Wound Technology Network
      • Technical Innovation: Broadcast Microwave Services
      • Embedded Employment: GE Consumer & Industrial
      • Best of Show: Global Care Quest
      • Small Company: Ecast
      • Government Agency: United States Navy
      • Non Profit Organization: Verde Valley Guidance Clinic
      • CDMA2000 1xEV-DO Implementation: Best Buy

All nominees were judged on creativity, innovation, overall business impact and quantifiable return on investment (ROI). The 3G A-List awards were presented on September 12 at CTIA Wireless I.T.® & Entertainment 2006 in Los Angeles.
