BASKING RIDGE, NJ — "Vidas de Fuego" ("Lives of Fire") the mini-telenovela (telenovelita) from the breakout hit "Ugly Betty," will be posted in its entirety on ABC.com and offered on Verizon Wireless V CAST Service. A brief clip from the telenovelita is used every week in "Ugly Betty," but viewers will be able to watch the first of six chapters of the complete two to four minute "Vidas de Fuego" beginning on Monday, Nov. 27 on ABC.com and Thursday, Nov. 30 on the ABC Channel, Showcase Channel and Latino Channel on Verizon Wireless' V CAST. Subsequently a new webisode of "Vidas de Fuego" will be available every Thursday on ABC.com and debut on Verizon Wireless V CAST the following Thursday. "Vidas de Fuego" is the first telenovelita in a series of two (twelve webisodes total) that will be translated into English and rolling out on ABC.com.

Starring well-known Hispanic telenovela actors, the dramatic and romantically intriguing "Vidas de Fuego" is set on the wealthy cattle ranch of the Rivera Family whose gorgeous maid is pregnant by her secret lover, a local priest, while the privileged Sofia Rivera seduces her stepson Galo to gain control of the family's empire. Who will ultimately win control of the Galo fortune?
Starring in "Vidas de Fuego" are Marlene Favela ("Contra viento y marea"), Sebastian Rulli (Contra viento y marea), Ninel Conde (Rebelde), Helena Rojo (Peregrina) and Eduardo Rodriguez (Peregrina).
