DALLAS, TX — Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation's most reliable network, announced today that Gretchen Wirth has been named regional associate director - Strategic Sales. Based in Lewisville, she will lead a North Texas Strategic Sales team in promoting and selling the benefits of Verizon Wireless to strategic Fortune 1000 accounts in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
"Gretchen's strong sales performance and professionalism, her attention to detail, strategic thinking and leadership will help us expand our reach in the strategic sector," said Jim O'Brey, director of Business Sales for Verizon Wireless.
Wirth has worked with Verizon Wireless for more than nine years, including previous roles as retail district manager and business sales manager. Prior to joining Verizon Wireless, she held various positions at United States Cellular Corp. Wirth holds a bachelors degree from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
