DALLAS, TX — Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation's most reliable network, announced today that DaNell Kinney has been named supervisor - Sales Training. Based in Lewisville, Texas, Kinney will lead a sales training team to support the retail and indirect channels throughout the region including Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Shreveport, Louisiana, Tulsa, Oklahoma and Little Rock, Arkansas.
Kinney will implement and deliver training for products, operations, systems and sales programs that support the strategic performance of the region. In addition to enhancing the Verizon Wireless culture, her objectives include growing business, improving business efficiency and reducing churn through improved customer experiences.

Through her leadership and keen understanding of the wireless industry, she will help us to grow business and further improve the customer experience," said Luis Cruz, region president for Verizon Wireless.
Kinney began her wireless career as a customer service representative in 1996. She moved on to other roles at Verizon Wireless including retail sales representative, retail sore manager, business account executive and district manager. Most recently, Kinney served as an operations consultant in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
