LITTLE ROCK, AR — Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation's most reliable network, has named Stephen Copley as the new district manager for the Arkansas/Oklahoma District. Copley will oversee all Verizon Wireless stores in the district, which includes Arkansas, Oklahoma, east Texas and north Louisiana.

Based in Little Rock, Copley's responsibilities will also include ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, maintaining operational and merchandising excellence, driving customer and revenue growth, executing national marketing initiatives and promoting employee training and development.

"Stephen's sales experience in the wireless industry will be a huge benefit to our retail locations in the district," said Ryan Chandler, director - Retail Sales for Verizon Wireless. "With the recent launch of service in Arkansas and Oklahoma, we have a great opportunity to show consumers the benefits of the nation's most reliable network by taking a 'Test Drive' with Verizon Wireless."

Verizon Wireless recently introduced its 30-day Test Drive, an industry first that lets customers experience its network virtually risk-free for 30 days. If customers are not satisfied with their experience and take their numbers to another carrier, Verizon Wireless will refund their money for calls, equipment, activation fee and taxes.

Copley has an extensive background in the wireless industry, specifically in management of retail sales. He began his career at Cingular Wireless in 2000 as a retail sales manager in Kentucky. For the past two years, Copley has worked for Sprint Nextel as district retail sales manager for up to 12 retail stores in Kentucky.

Copley holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Campbellsville University in Kentucky.
