NEW YORK, NY — With just days to go before the kick off of Rugby World Cup 2007, Setanta Sports North America announced it has teamed- up with Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the nation's most reliable wireless voice and data network, to offer Rugby World Cup video clip footage to V CAST Video customers. Now rugby fans across the nation can receive access to the Rugby World Cup footage exclusive to the international sports channel -- right on their V CAST Video-enabled phones.

Starting Friday September 7th, V CAST Video customers can view the kick off match between the USA Eagles and 2003 World champion, England. In addition, V CAST Video will feature exclusive up-to-the minute access to the majority of the games taking place in host country France and in neighboring Wales and Scotland. V CAST customers will stay in the game with up to eight video clips from each televised match, including the hardest hits and final scores.

Today, rugby fans can view pre-show video clips that highlight classic matches from the tournament's inception to the present, right on their V CAST Video-enabled phones. With classic rugby matches on V CAST, fans can tap into the golden games of the competition and re-live the crowning moments in the history of one of the world's most popular sports.

For the insatiable rugby fan who can't get enough, Setanta Sports' post game video footage will also be available on V CAST Video, providing match highlights, goal spotlights, and interviews with team players directly following the live game.

Customers can view Rugby World Cup video segments in the Sports category in the V CAST Sports section under Setanta Rugby Cup on their V CAST Video- capable phones. Rugby World Cup video is premium content and each video segment costs 99 cents.

Customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use or by signing up for the $15.00 V CAST VPak monthly subscription. Customers get unlimited basic video, but application download fees apply for 3D games and premium video, including Rugby World Cup video clips. There are no airtime charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content.
