Verizon Wireless Celebrates Grand Opening Of Communications Store In Owasso, Oklahoma

OWASSO, OK — As part of its introduction into northeast Oklahoma, Verizon Wireless has opened a new, full-service Communications Store in Owasso. The Verizon Wireless store, located at 9035 N. 121st E, will host a series of customer events on Saturday, October 20, as well as a "wire-cutting" ceremony and check presentation on Wednesday, October 24 at noon.

"Verizon Wireless provides our customers with the best wireless experience and the most reliable network," said Luis M. Cruz, region president for Verizon Wireless. "We are pleased to celebrate the opening of our Owasso store and we're excited to start providing customers with services and products they can't get anywhere else."

Bring the whole family out to the grand opening celebration on October 20 where Radio Disney will entertain the crowd with the Radio Disney dancers. Kids will also have the opportunity to take the stage and lip sync to their favorite Hannah Montana songs from noon to 2 p.m.

For those unable to land tickets to the sold-out Hannah Montana concert on December 2 in Oklahoma City, register on-site for the opportunity to win two tickets to the show, a $100 gas card and $100 dining card.

Additional grand opening activities include:

• 2,000 Bonus Minutes with a new two-year activation;
• Waived activation fee of $35 with all new activations;

As part of the grand opening, Verizon Wireless will donate $2,500 to pilot a domestic violence counseling program through Owasso Community Resources as a part of the Verizon Wireless HopeLine program — a program dedicated to recycling wireless phones to assist victims of domestic violence. The check presentation will take place on October 24 at noon, in conjunction with the Owasso Chamber of Commerce's "wire-cutting" ceremony.

The new Owasso store features a full range of Verizon Wireless products and services and is fully staffed to provide optimum customer service and technical support, allowing customers to speak with Verizon Wireless' highly trained representatives for all of their wireless needs.
