WINSTON-SALEM, NC — Nicole Hemingway, a Winston-Salem resident and senior retail sales representative for Verizon Wireless, has been named to the company's President's Cabinet for ranking in the top one percent nationally in sales for the nation's most reliable wireless network.
Hemingway was one of just six people in North Carolina to earn the distinction for performance within the sales organization team, among the 628 senior retail sales representatives at Verizon Wireless nationwide. In 2007, there were 207 winners out of more than 15,000 sales employees.
Hemingway's day-to-day responsibilities include selling the nation's leading voice and data network's calling plans, data services and phones to new customers in the Winston-Salem area.
"Nicole is truly an asset to our company, our communities and especially to her colleagues right here in Winston-Salem," said Jerry Fountain, Carolinas/Tennessee region president for Verizon Wireless. "At Verizon Wireless, we encourage our employees to focus on matching our products and services with customers needs. Nicole exemplifies what it means to put customers first and is highly valued by her customers and us."
