DUBUQUE, IA — Verizon Wireless has relocated its Communications Store in Dubuque from Kennedy Mall to a newly built facility nearby at 3234 Dodge St. The 3,100-square-foot store will better serve the company's growing customer base and enhance the overall customer experience with a new and highly interactive retail concept that is a departure from Verizon Wireless' traditional retail store design.
Customers can pickup and try wireless devices and experience on demand access to short news, weather, sports and entertainment video clips; more than 3 million downloadable songs; and cutting-edge 3D games; as well as coveted phones and PDAs. The store also features accessories such as Bluetooth® headsets and wireless cards and modems for laptops, and allows customers to view products and services on interactive television screens.
"This new store reflects our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with increased convenience and an accessible and knowledgeable sales staff," said Nancy B. Clark, president Great Plains region, Verizon Wireless. "Consumer demand for our wireless service continues to grow as our network upgrades provide new, more sophisticated services for our customers."
The store, managed by Mike Petsche, is one of 18 Verizon Wireless company-owned Communications Stores in Iowa. Store hours are Monday though Friday 9 a.m.9 p.m.; Saturday from 9 a.m.8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.6 p.m. For more information about the store, call 563-588-0800.
